Reflection on Compare and Contrast Essay
Reflection on Web Presence
The web presence I chose for my self is someone that is calm, easy to talk to, and not easily influenced. I chose to create a web presence not only just to communicate with others, but also to give others an insight to the things that makes me the person I am. My dominate web presence image is someone who is not influenced by the actions or thoughts of other individuals, and I chose this type of image so that people can see that I am a kind hearted person but I refuse to be taken advantage of.  I’m appealing to youth more than anyone else simply because I want to show that it is okay to be different. You do not always have to show of your body or use obscene language to get people to like you.  I think people react to my web presence in a mature way; basically I think people will see me as someone who is not just fitting in with the crowd. I can indeed envision myself using my web presence in the future, if I just happen to apply for a job and my employer decided to research me, they will be enlightened on the type of person I portray myself to be.

After writing my first draft to my essay I felt as though I had a strong argumentative topic.  My first draft was not in the best shape, I did not quite understand where I was trying to go with my topic, and therefore I had to make a lot of changes to it. In the first draft I pretty much only had out ideas and didn’t really form an essay. After the peer review I was confident that I had a well thought out essay minus the few grammatical errors. My person experiences is what influenced me the most in my writing, because I know first-hand what it feels like to not having the money for college, but I’m here. Choosing a topic was not all that difficult I just thought about something that I knew influenced many people and I was sure a lot of people have a hard time with college preparation. Making my thesis was a little more difficult simply because I was not too sure what I was arguing, but the research was simple, because there is a lot of information on the web about the steady rise of college tuition and the decline of help coming from financial aid. I feel best about my argument in my writing but making it more clearly for my readers is what I still have to work on. The wikis helped me a lot in my research, all the research in my essay came from my wikis. Studying my topic more deeply is king of what gave me my topic, because after researching the topic and seeing how much financial aid was not helping a lot of families is what lead me to my topic.

Reflection on Human Interest Essay
After writing my first draft I felt a pretty confident in the topic that I had chosen, and in comparison to the first draft of Essay One they differed because in Essay One my topic was more broad and in the Human Interest Essay my topic was more complex. After the conference I was able to recognize my mistakes as I was doing the final draft, but peer review was not as helpful. My college experience thus far was my primary influence for the topic chosen. The research for my topic was not hard to find, but collaborating a thesis for the essay was quite difficult for me due to the fact that my topic was so broad. Choosing my topic was the easiest part of the entire essay. The research that I found for my essay was the easiest part, but I need to work on how to put my thoughts into words, so that other people will understand what I mean.
This essay was easier than the first essay because it was more entertaining than the first one. I felt a little less confident then I did in the first essay due to the fact that the topic I wrote on was a new issue and not well thought out governmentally, in my opinion. Posting to discussion five did not help me understand what I was supposed to do. This essay was more emotional than logical due to the fact that the new changes will apply to me, making the essay seem more personal than factual.
